CONFEDERATE STATES NAVY (CSN) BRASS BUTTON - CIVIL WAR- S. ISAAC & CAMPBELL
This is a very rare button with an even rarer backmark of , S. Issac Campbell & Co 71 Jermyn st.
This button is in very nice condition with nice bold embossing and a straight intact shank. The patina is a nice dark chocolate coloring, but, the gold gilt likes to glimmer through. There is an area of heavy green patina that covers some of the backmark.
S. Isaac & co. were suppliers solely for the confederate states.
