This is a dug military button found in lower Pennsylvania. It was cleaned up slightly. The back says "Extra Quality". The button measures about 2 cm in diameter or 3/4 of a inch. These and similar buttons were wore on the coats of service men that fought in the Civil War. Would make a nice addition to one's collection.
